The School of Library + Information Management offers two ALA-accredited degree programs, Master of Library Science and Ph.D. in Library and Information Management, and several certificate options. Emporia State was the first of its kind to open west of the Mississippi. It has since expanded to offer hybrid coursework at locations across the U.S.
